TurboTax Troubleshooting

Why won’t my file upload?

One possible reason that you’re having trouble uploading a file is because the file is an excel file. TurboTax only supports .csv file uploads, not excel files. Make sure the end of your file name says .csv and not .xls or .xlsx.

What are the transaction limits for document uploads?

TurboTax supports Robinhood customers with extensive trading history, however, if you made 500 or more equity and options trades or 250 or more cryptocurrency trades in the filing year, you may experience difficulty uploading your tax forms directly into TurboTax. You can upload your transaction history by following their instructions.

Transactions beyond these limits need to be entered manually.

If you wish to upload your crypto transactions to TurboTax, you will need to sign up for TurboTax Premier or higher.

How do I get my TurboTax discount?

You can claim a discount of up to $20 and begin filing by following this link: http://turbotax.intuit.com/affiliate/robinh2.*
