Crypto Order Routing

Crypto Order Routing

When you buy or sell cryptocurrencies on the Robinhood platform, Robinhood Crypto sends your orders to trading venues it works with that allow you to receive competitive prices. We receive revenue from these trading venues in the form of volume rebates. These rebates help us cover the costs of operating our business and offer you commission-free trading.

At any given time, Robinhood Crypto may be routing orders to one or more of these trading venues. When deciding where to send an order, we look at which of these trading venues is currently offering a better price for your order. If you're placing a buy order, we look at which trading venue is currently offering to sell you cryptocurrency for a lower price. If you're placing a sell order, we look at which trading venue is currently offering to purchase your cryptocurrency for a higher price. Rebates are not considered when deciding where to route your order, and all trading venues with whom we work provide the same rebate rate.

We take the privacy and security of our customers extremely seriously. We do not sell customer information or trade against customer orders.
