Your Trusted Contact Person is an individual you designate to act as your emergency contact if you become unable to manage your account, or if we’re unable to reach you directly.
This person won’t be able to:
- Access to your account
- Place trades or transfer funds on your behalf
- Assume power of attorney
Collecting this information is purely precautionary and doesn't change your Robinhood experience.
Setting Your Trusted Contact Person
If you'd like to add a Trusted Contact Person to your account, you can simply shoot us a note with the following information about your contact:
- First and last name
- Mailing address
- Phone number
- Email address
Once we receive your email, we’ll update your account with your Trusted Contact Person.
