What’s a Trusted Contact Person?
Your Trusted Contact Person is an individual you designate to act as your emergency contact should you become unable to manage your account, or if we are unable to reach you directly.
Please note, this person won’t be able to:
- Access to your account
- Place trades or transfer funds on your behalf
- Assume power of attorney
Collecting this information is purely precautionary and doesn't change your Robinhood experience.
How do I set a Trusted Contact Person?
If you'd like to add a Trusted Contact Person to your account, you can do so in the app:
- Tap the Account icon in the upper left corner of your screen
- Tap the “Help” tab
- Tap “Contact Support”
- Tap “My Account”
- Tap “Trusted Contact Person”
Please provide us with the following information about your contact:
- First and last name
- Mailing address
- Phone number
- Email address
